About Me
Hi, I’m Nicole Shewaga.
I help people expand beyond the internal patterns and resistance that keep them from living with greater alignment, clarity, and self-leadership.
After a 14-year career as a professional accountant, I chose to transition into coaching and teaching work that supports self-reflection, emotional regulation, and embodied self-awareness.
My own journey of personal growth — through deep self-exploration, nervous system awareness, and intuitive development — taught me how to move out of survival-based patterns and into a way of living that feels grounded, connected, and authentic. Supporting others in developing that same capacity for clarity and self-trust is the most meaningful work I’ve done.
At the core of my work is helping people strengthen their relationship with their own intuition — understood as an internal compass that becomes more accessible when we are regulated, present, and not operating from fear or conditioning.
When people learn how to listen to their internal cues, values, and felt sense, confusion softens and forward movement becomes clearer. This process supports greater confidence in navigating challenges and making aligned decisions in real life.
I see my coaching as a stepping stone into teaching: supporting people in developing self-awareness, identifying limiting patterns, and building the skills to continue that work independently through their own reflective and intuitive practices.
My Story
For over a decade, I lived as a high-functioning addict, until a two-year struggle with opioid dependence brought me to a breaking point. I felt disconnected from myself, weighed down by shame and hopelessness. Choosing recovery meant committing to turn my suffering into something meaningful, even before I fully understood what that would look like.
Over the years, I explored many approaches to healing — including addiction counseling, cognitive behavioral therapy, somatic work, and other integrative modalities. Each offered insight, but I still found myself cycling between periods of stability and depression. I eventually realized that insight alone wasn’t enough; I needed to develop a more embodied, regulated way of relating to myself.
A turning point came when I began working with practitioners who combined evidence-based approaches with body-based and mindfulness practices. Through this work, I learned how to reconnect with my body, regulate my nervous system, and access a deeper sense of internal clarity rather than operating from survival patterns.
With the support of mentors and teachers, I developed greater intuitive awareness — not as something external or mystical, but as an internal capacity that becomes clearer when we are grounded, present, and self-aware. This shift supported greater emotional regulation, confidence, and personal responsibility in my life.
That process opened the door to clarity, empowerment, and a more intentional way of living — the same principles I now support others in cultivating through reflective, embodied coaching and teaching.
My Approach & Values
Knowledge is valuable, but lasting change comes from embodiment — learning how to integrate insight into the nervous system so it becomes lived, repeatable behavior rather than just intellectual understanding.
My teaching and coaching support people in moving from self-awareness into self-alignment by developing greater connection to their body, emotions, and internal cues. This work is less about analyzing who you are and more about learning how to experience yourself with clarity, presence, and self-trust.
Working with me is experiential and reflective. It goes beyond exchanging information and focuses on helping clients integrate insight through awareness, regulation, and practical application in daily life.
I hold a safe, non-judgmental space rooted in freedom, integrity, personal responsibility, and honest self-inquiry, while also encouraging growth, expansion, and playfulness.
I don’t “fix” people — I guide them in strengthening their relationship with their own intuition, understood as an internal compass that becomes clearer when we are grounded, regulated, and self-aware.
I am highly empathetic and attuned, while also being direct, clear, and grounded in my communication.
My teaching approach is straightforward and substance-driven, valuing depth, integration, and meaningful change over surface-level solutions.
